View Full Version : Sensitive teeth
Can the dentist actually do anything for sensitive teeth? I've been using the special toothpaste from the supermarket for almost a year now with no improvement.
It's probably a good idea to pay them a visit. It depends on the cause of the sensitivity. With me it was due to receeding gums, so the nerves were being exposed. This was due to trauma from grinding my teeth at night which I hadn't been aware of. There's also a gel that you can get from your dentist to reduce sensitivity, but I can't remember what it's called at the moment.
