For those of you who have had them or know someone who has had them have a question for you!

Last time i had them with dd2 as i was in suspected labour so they kept me in for three days to give me the steroids and give me some other drug to stop anything happening.

My doc wants to give them to me again as he wants them as back up which i dont have a problem with and apparently i am already 3cms dialated and he said it will be hard to stop if something happens. I see where his coming from so thats not a problem.

Tell me as i am not in labour or threatening to go in anytime soon do i have to stay in hospital during these injections or will they let me go home and pop in when i am due to have them for the few days? i didnt think to ask him but i know last time they made me stay as they thought bubs was coming.

Thanks :)

i am hoping they dont make me stay in there only as we dont have any family or know anyone here at all (only been here 2 weeks) so i am keeping my fingers crossed they will let me go in each day for my jab seeing i am not threatening to go into labour right now its only really a precaution just encase i do :)

I also thought that to as they are only doing it for a pre caution but do you think they might still want to moniter you for a little while?

I had them whilst I was in hospital with TPL. I know of people who have had them and then gone home and come back to have the next lot.

I guess it depends on the ob/hospital policy?

Good luck, hope your bub cooks for a bit longer:fingerscrossed:
