Watch our Babies Grow - March Bubs Stats

Hi everyone

I thought we could start a thread for the bub's stats since we are all so intrigued by how fast they grow month to month.

We could also write down other new developments like when babies roll, try solids, sit up, get a tooth, basically like an online baby record book.

Here are some for Ella at 4 mths:

19/07/07:

Length - 68cm
Weight - 7.5kg
Head - 41cm

NEW DEVELOPMENTS/SKILLS:

Sat up on own - 18/07/07 (I think!).

Solids - Started rusks on 13/07/07.

BABY'S PERSONALITY:

Cheeky, screams to talk &/or get attention and at her toys, grumpy this month cos of teething.

ok here are some for Harper :D

about 2 weeks ago:
Length - 66cm
Weight - 6.7 kg
but i would say he is 7kg now.

NEW DEVELOPMENTS/SKILLS:
great at weight-bearing - sits/stands holding on to my hands
using his voice a lot now

BABY'S PERSONALITY:
smiley, content but grizzly before bed. very cuddly and sociable. has me wrapped around his finger!!

Stats for Owen at his 4 months checkup:

Weight: 7.93kg
Length: 64cm
Head Circ.: 42cm

New Developments/Skills:

He has rolled from tummy to back about 4 days ago & for about 3 weeks now has been getting right, right over onto his side from lying on his back, but has not quite managed the back to tummy roll!

He can bear weight on his legs & has been able to since about 5 weeks. All he wants to do is stand up & jump!! Thank goodness for Jolly Jumpers!!

Chews everything in sight!

Focuses on objects both near & far. Curious about everything - follows objects (usually his sister!) with intense interest!

Plays with his hands, grasps objects & just startng to discover his feet!

And what a chatterbox!! (Gee.... dunno where he'd get that from..... :o) He has been "chatting" to us since he was about 3 or 4 weeks old!! :eek:

Personality:

Gentle, cheeky, sweet, very alert & aware of everything. Very curious about everything happening around him!
