Single parents in perth?

Hi, I have just discovered this forum. i am 27 and I have a 7 year old daughter. I was wondering if there were any other single parents here in Perth, I seem to only ever meet parents who are still in happy coupledom!

i will be a single parent in perth in july!!! and i know what you mean about teh couples, heaps of my married friends are having babies at the same time as me, i dont know any other singles.

I am a single mum, I really only know 3 couples with young children and a couple who r due in May (they live in Bubury) most of my friends don't have kids and unfortunately lost a little contact since having my son, and being single is also hard keeping friends with old mates especially when they find a partner.

Where do u both live? I live in the Quinns Rock area.

i currently live in mt hawthorn, but am moving to Mullaloo in a couple of weeks to await the birth of child. i go to uni in joondalup and want to keep going after the babies born and i thought living closer will give me a better chance of actually getting there!

quinns is beaautiful right near the beach...i have heard there are lots of young mums up there. good real estate i think. when i go to get my own house which will be soonish after jumior is born (and the money comes) i will be heading closer up thatish way, but mullaloo is only a 15 minute drive really so we will be quite close.

Hi, I'm in Padbury. I'm glad to find out that I'm not the only single parent in Perth. Was beginning to think I was!Wow, becoming a parent in July, that must be scary, and exciting, doing it on your own from the beginning. I am really impressed!

hey im a single mum in perth to! :p im melissa (21) mum to aden (2.5yrs!)
would be great to have some single mum friends ( : to do things on the weekends with (usually families galore everywhere, or partying!) like have bbqs, or see a kiddy movie, or playcentres/park etc!
i work full time so weekends only for me /O:
