I have been looking at Bambo Nature Disposable nappies online. They are cheaper than Huggies & apparently better for the environment.
I have applied for a sample to be sent out & am waiting to try it out.
I am just wondering if anyone else has tried these nappies & what they thought of them.

I got the sample and thought they worked fine, but reading between the lines, I think most of their "environmental friendliness" was to do with the manufacturing process, not biodegradablility which was what I was hoping it would be (I guess either is better than none tho :) ) and when I do use disposables I use the ultra cheap ones, so they were still too pricey for me.

Hey there Avasmum, you can buy Moltex nappies at a couple of places in Perth, Mt Lawley Wholefoods and Manna in Freo. The postage on Bambo can be a little outrageous. I have used Moltex when we went camping up north and they were great, and when you cut off the sticky tab they are 100% biodegradable. They say 4 weeks in a worm farm or 4 months in the ground or compost heap. HTH!
I just saw that baby beehinds are making their nappies out of bamboo soon, looks good, i may be converted :p

i got samples sent to me aswell and i tried them. The stuff they are made out of is great VERY SOFT but i found that the nappy really stunk once it got wet??? plus i think they are little pricy once you pay for postage. They are soft and they were absorbant so i will give them that :p
