LH surge. HELP

I have been testing morn and night. On my second toilet visit this mornin I got a darker line. And this arvo I got A lighter one. How long does a surge last have I surged or not. I confused I havn Bded Since sunday morn cause I was trying to time for 3 days before O which I thought would be on 17th. So If sperm last 3-5 days I only have to tomorrow to have nechance for this month. Could I have surged and the leval have already dropped.

Hey there Bex,

You def can have surged and the level already dropped. Some people have very very short surges, I would BD today and tomorrow morning to give yourself a good chance!
My BFP Month, I got my Surge on teh 20th, and BD'd that day and day after and we got it!

(some months I had long surges, and some months I had to test twice a day or I would miss a really short surge.. Very very frustrating.) Your still in with a good chance IMO :yes:

If you BD tonight and tomorrow morning, and perhaps even the following day if you have any energy, the spermies will be ready and waiting for when you ovulate, which is 24-48 hours on average from surge, but can be up to 72 hours and still considered normal.

What are the odds of girl if I bed after the surge? is it less? My temp is still 36.5 so I dont think I o'd yet.

Hi Bex, my FS tells me you O 24 to 48 hrs after the surge. When I do an IUI, they plan it for 36 hrs after the surges is detected so you're still have a very good chance of catching that eggie. :babydust2: for you.

Im not holding out this month.
Im trying to temp but Its all over the place. Then this mornin I got 36.7 first thing but I realised I did it in the ear I was sleeping on. then It was to late cause I had got up and gone to the kitchen and I got a low temp.
I really don't know where I am So I think I may have to wait till next cycle and try again.

Ne suggestions on better Tracking?
