We have a DD who thinks it is funny to hide when we are out etc and wait to see if anyone can find her:shame: She does this on a regular basis!
Yesterday she really scared me. I took the 3 kids out onto the front lawn to get em in the car for kinder/daycare dropoff. Put bub in his carseat, DD was playing in the garden so I put DS1 in next. Went round other side of the car to put DD in and guess what? Yep she was gone! Usually she just goes around the corner of the house or shed so I looked there but no DD. I had left front door open cos I still had stuff to grab off the bench so I had quick look inside. No DD:no: . Started to panic a bit cos we live on a really busy street which has four streets running off our corner. Had another look around outside and up the streets then actually checked the car in case she had gotten in there sneakily. No. So I came back inside in a panic wondering what to do next. God I have lost my child! She had been gone for about 10 minutes by this time. Anyway I heard the wardrobe door slide and a little giggle. Went in DDs bedroom and she was hiding in the wardrobe waiting for me to 'find' her. Man did she get told off!
Anyways I was so relieved to find her but so cross that she keeps doing this (yep its definatly not the 1st time!) cos one day something really bad cud happen to her:gloomy: especially on the busy street we live on and down the end of our cul-de-sac theres a drop that has big ponds at the bottom. Panic panic. Anyways all good now but does anyone elses kids do this to them?!
