Hello,
After reading a few posts, I was wanting some honest help with choosing an agency. My son has been invited to go to Brats in Melbourne but I just dont know. Without sounding conceited I have been told by a few people he should try modelling, blue eyes, thick blond hair, but I dont want to get sucked in to paying the $500 annual fee and then to never hear form then again. He is only 10 mths old.
Brats versus Bambini?????? Any opinions???

My son was in a Heinz Ad as a 10 month old. Be warned while the money is good, the enviroment is competitive, jealous, and pretty much nasty. A lot of mothers look for some sort of validation that their child is beautiful, and just look at your child as their child's competition! Also looks in young babies and children have very little to do with getting work, it is more behaviour. Your baby has to be taken away by strangers, away from you without being upset, they need to be really easygoing. It is expensive to shoot a film or commercial, and they don't have time to waste on fussy babies or toddlers, no matter how "cute" they may be. Having said that, I don't really think it matters where you join, there is no garantee of work anywhere you join, and chances are that you will not find work, you really have to be prepared that your money will be just gone, and just hope that maybe you will be one of the lucky ones! Goodluck!!!

4boys2love Am sad to say, Amelia went for her first shoot a couple of weeks ago and I totally agree.... the whole experience was pretty upsetting for us and her.It was a hell of a long day and I think i had my head in the clouds about the whole thing. We have yet to get any money as not sure her pics will be used as she was pretty peed off with having to put shoes on!Told we would be paid for our time regardless. I have had a call since for another job but was too busy.

why dont you just try AT2 its cheaper $55.00 and it goes around all the agency's you can even pitch your son and choose you own photos i have had a few reply's from agency who would love to see him and i have choosen one who want to see him on 3rd August they are a private agency (none of those big shots agencys) in Sydney, they just love my little boy who is two and there fee is cheaper $250 for a photos shoot, his photos and to get him into castings you even get a disc with his pictures on all for that price.
They do film, commercials, adverts etc...
So have a look at AT2 :)
