Does anyone else have problems with their premmie being more unsettled than full term babies? My little one has periods where despite trying everything she takes hours and hours to settle:confused:

I think they go through stages. Our prems were huge sleepers when we first got them home but then it was like someone had flicked a switch.

We did have an issue with settling DD but that was due to silent reflux. Once we medicated that she was back to being an

Like TwoBlue my prems slept more than their f/t brothers.

I'm not sure as I don't have any other babies to compare her too, but DD has always been a very settled baby. She has had her moments, but usually we don't have any problems.

I found this too. I think because they were still so little they slept more but as soon as they were home for a couple of weeks...wammo!!! Although, two different babies. Talon was a screamer from after about 2 weeks of being home till about 6 months! But in hind sight I think that had a lot to do with colic and the fact that I didn't know how to settle it. With Rafferty he was pretty much the same, slept really well the first 2 weeks or so and then he started to cry alot at night between 5 and 9ish. But apart from that he sleeps soooo much better than his big brother did (and still does- Talon wakes me up more at night than my 12 week old baby!!) But as I've only had prems I've nothing else really to compare it to.
