View Full Version : Who wants to talk?
Hi guys. I am sitting at home alone again like normal and i'd love to chat with anyone.... Bubba is 10 months old and he is teething...I am 33 and i feel alone....Hubby left 6 months ago and i feel like i dont have much of a life anymore, or not the life i envisaged anyway...Does anyone want to chat...Are there any Gold Coast mums who'd like to have a coffee or cake or something and let our bubbs play.....

Hi Juanita
I too get bored and a little lonely. Some days I just hang out for my partner to get home to have some adult conversation. I have no one to visit (except my MIL around the cnr but I can't spend all day with her!) and often just go to the shops with bub to get out of the house (and that can be a bit sad to as there's not a lot of money lying around to spend) . I love being with bubs and I never want anyone to think I take being a stay at home mum for granted, but I do miss having family and friends around! Well, that's my whinge for the day. Feel free to email me. We can keep each other company. My little girl is 7mths. I live at Miami.

Hi Juanita,
I live in Oxenford and i'm always looking to meet new people with kids on the Gold Coast. Where abouts do you live?
Ryan is almost 13 months old and loves playing with other children. PM me, i'm always up for a coffee.
Leonie
I'm in Perth so I think it would be an expensive coffee to come join you!!
But seriously, chin up chicken! I know it feels so lonely and boring sometimes. I too am a SAHM who is single. But I find that this forum helps me meet new people so hopefully it does for you too. Also, I aim to leave the house at least once a day, for my own sanity, plus you never know who you are gonna meet!
Do you have a good network of support from family and friends? I find that it is an indispensable amount of help to keep your sanity. I don't know what I would have done without all my mates and especially my parents and little sister!
Please feel free to PM me anytime and my email is also polony_5@yahoo.com if you need to talk or ask any questions! You can ask me anything!!
I hope things get better for you.
Love Brooke
Hey Juanita..
Im quite happy for a chat.. PM me anytime..
Poor bub, teething is awful..for them and you! So, I guess youre not getting that much sleep either??
I moved up here in August last year, and havent made all that many friends yet, So, some adult conversation would be great!
Im in Ashmore..

Hi Juanita, I've just moved to the Gold Coast, I'm in Bundall and not far from you. Have you tried out any of the local playgroups, there's a couple I'm taking my 2 year old to this week, one on Salerno St at the Anglican Church, and one just south across the bridge at the PCYC on Monaco St, check this thread for details: http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?t=10291
I'd be interested in meeting up with other 'mums' for a chat :)
