Just a quick question, does anyone know what the difference is between the "Infa Trevelle" booster seat and the "infa Senital"? I am going to buy one of them but one is sold at Toys R Us and the other at K-mart so I cant compare them next to each other. Plus they are heaps cheaper then the Hi-pod! :smiliedance:

Infa have bought out a new Booster seat. It is called the "secure" and it bolts in and can be used with a H harness. The baby shop closest to me is selling it at $99 with the harness $60.

Mmmmm....intersted to know why you think it is "cr@p". Sincerley interested....?

Is is because it is cheaper than the Maxi? It is made of sturdy moulded plastic and looks well made when I had a look yesterday. It bolts in exactly as a Maxi does and has the clip for a harness. It definately looks better than the stirofoam jobs out there. I personally was impressed:thumbsup:

I dont care if it looks cr@p, I dont want it as a fashion statement, looks dont bother me. I went to a baby shop and had a look and the lady was great. The difference is that one has an extendable headrest and the other doesnt. But I think they are a great price compared to the foam one. You are right Chub Chub they are branded as the "secure" name. Some really funky colours too lol! But I think I will stick to the plain conservative colour. lol

A friend of mine just brought one, I might ask her what she thinks of it, cause i'll be looking at getting DS a booster soon, I was wanting to get a maxirider but its a bit pricy for us right now,

I thought they look A-OK:thumbsup:

Glad you liked it....I was impressed with the features, the fact you can use the H harness and seemed to contour around DD's body when we tried her out in it. I think the one I looked at was called "Secure Cindy" by Infa. The material looked nice and not easily worn. I thought it was a great alternative to the Maxi:thumbsup:

Would love some feedback if you get it!!!!

what i mean is they do not look safe..not fashion wise but keeping your child safe in an accident wise.

Well what booster would you suggest then? Cos if they werent safe I am sure they would not be selling them.

what weight is your child?

perhaps I should have said 'safe enough' or 'as safe as others'

there are plenty of things being sold which are not safe, not safe enough or not as safe as others...:)

if your child is under 18 kilos I recommend keeping them in a babyseat until they reach 18 kilos or are too tall. then I would go a safe and sound maxiriderII with a H harness til 26 kilos :)(the maxi can be used from 8 kilos(with a built in 5 pt harness) but I still think a proper baby seat is safer/better)

I already have a Maxi rider, but the booster seat is for my Mum's car in a few months when he is too big for his Royale. He is not far off 4 years. So dont need another Maxi only a booster. Plus space in the car is an issue.

Got it for a great price too and even got a bonus bum booster seat (might come in handy one day for something:confused: )

Infa Vario Kid boosters where rated as the best in booster seats test (check nrma site). They are now rebranded as the Secure Travelle Booster Seat.

Currently the travelle is on special at toysrus for $99.98 including bonus matching cushion booster. But I dont think they have any choice of colors.

That's right  They outperformed all other seats (even the maxi-rider).

Just goes to show that priciest doesn't necessarily mean safest
