Hi Vnessy,
Congrats on your pregnancy. I've not heard of Jeanette Henderson but I had my daughter at Freemasons and it was really fantastic. The support was great - in every aspect. I was induced and when I arrived at the hospital the midwife asked what sort of labour I would like to have (like you really have a choice - but still, I felt she was being very respectful) - as a joke I said I wanted one that didn't hurt so she said she would put me down for an epi-dural - which when the time came, I was very grateful for. I think if I have said I wanted low-intervention, totally natural she would have been equally as supportive.
The breast-feeding support was great and the nurses are happy to take your baby over night if you are really in need of a rest. The food is also a highlight, restaraunt quality, 4 courses every meal. I had a king bed (I think I paid $50 a night extra) but my husband stayed every night, which I was so thankful for. A week after I came home I went to the day breastfeeding clinic and again, they were fantastic, supportive and followed up 3 days later with a call to see how I was going.
So I would definitely recommend it and plan to have my next baby there when the time comes.
Good luck with your search for an ob, I had Guy Skinner, who was brilliant, so I'm sorry I can't help you with Jeanette Henderson. Just a hint with Freemasons, put your name down ASAP, you'll miss out if you are past about 6 weeks pregnant b/c it is so popular.
Good luck with your pregnancy.
