Hi, I'm new to the bub hub. I'm coming to the end of TWW after first cycle of iui. and it's good to read about others experiences while I try not to go crazy waiting to find out if its worked.

So I thought I'd share my experience. I'm currently living in SA, here you have to be medically infertile to access assited reproductive services. I had to decide wether to have an (unneccesary?) laproscopy as if it showed anything I might be able to access treatment here. Other option go interstate. Decided to have the sugery as if it was all clear at least that would give me confidence that I shouldn't have problems conceiving given cost and difficulting in going interstate. Laproscopy was all clear so interstate it was. Got very dishartened at fist after phoning lots of clinics all over Australia to find, closed waiting list, 2 year waiting list or you required your own donor. Finally found clinic with no wait in Sydney and Canberra. Chose Sydney as they do iui (canberra only do IVF cos of shortage of donors).

Anyway had 1st insemination on 3rd July, my period would be due tommorrow and hopefully I can do the blood test on thursday

We are also 2ww'n it, AF due tomorrow as well... Did two HPT's (-) but both of them fairly early, praying too early!! May do another this evening but keep telling myself not to bother as im sure AF is on it's way, grr! But it's not over till it's over and if it is over it's only 12 days until we "go again", so to speak! Keep us posted and
:wizard: GOODLUCK!!!

Hi thanks for all the messages of support, hope you have good news Karmalunar!

well my period has not come and I am just waiting on blood test results.

Last two nights at 3am had the worst cramps, way beyond normal period pains, it only lasted about half an hour, but that was enough. Has anyone else had same experience?

Its normal to get period like cramping even into your pregnancy when your period was due.

Im surprised you havent done any home tests yet. I'd be besides myself with excitement.

Valentine :hugs: hugs & kisses to you. Good luck.:fingerscrossed:
