HI everyone.

I had a m/c and d&C on the 6th of july. I have just done a home preg test and it is a faint, very faint:bfp: . Would i still have preg hormones from last time or may i be preg???


Please need advice.

I dont think so...how far along were you? I think a D&C is a bit more 'final' than letting nature take its course KWIM? I thought I was still pregnant for ages after my M/C but I wasnt.

Seeing as it's only been 11 days since your D&C I doubt that a HPT would show up positive even if you have conceived since the D&C, I think it's way to early to be showing up. It's possible you could still have HCG in your system from previous pregnancy, I'm sure I read that somewhere, that it's possible! I know you want this so badly, but I just don't think it would be showing yet - but you never know, stranger things have happened, right?

TTC... sorry to say i agree with EmsMum..

My history has been that hcg can take a little bit to get back to normal.. and i dont want to scare you but some take quite a while.. others back real soon and are pg soon after... but even if you conceived straight after.. you still are not far enough along for it to show up...

For instance.. you m/c 6/7 i O'd 7/7 and i am now only 10dpo.. still too early for those results..

Thanks everyone, i am sure you are all right. I just called my friend to speak to her about it and she agrees. I guess more than likely my hormones are still going down and that is what the test has picked up. I dont even know why i did the test. But maybe if i repeat in a week and then the following week i will be seeing my ob anyway.

Damn, i am so good at getting my hopes up.
