12 Week growth spurt!

Hi mums
My little girl is just over 11 weeks and in the last few days shes become incrediably fussy with her feeding. Just then I had to feed her 4 times in a space of only 2 hours!! Today has been the hardest day for me as she loses a lot of sleep just wanting feeds and nappy changes. Shes finally settled down for a nap down but boy was it difficult!! What makes it hard and sometimes painful is that she has a stronger suck on left booby and a very strong suck on right booby. Ive also noticed a few lumps on the right one I should get them checked out. Hows everyone else handling these growth spurts?! Now im wishing I had an electric breast pump instead of a manual avent isis one. I know this will be all over soon. She sleeps well through the night only gets up once (since 7 weeks)

my DD is 9 weeks 3 days, and has been feeding sooo much over the last 24 hours - i put it down to a growth spurt as well. i just take it as a good excuse to not do any housework and sit with my feet up!!:laughing:

I find Ebony sleeps alot and then has a growth spurt!! As for the lumps are they little white head looking things?

The lumps have gone down now they were near my veins upper booby! One lump sort of looked like a bruise others had no colour. Felt like Pamela Anderson last night was leaky and I was so emotional! Feel much better now. Havent had it this bad since when the milk first came in. I think two half hour feeds a few days ago triggered the milk supply! Felt like a running cow trying to run and avoid the rainy weather weve been having in Melbourne. Lucky I have a very understanding husband. Will try not to do too much housework. Just finished sewing DH a pair of satin pjs :)

Thanks for listening ladies. Must be the hormones kicking in. Ties in with milk production
