heya I was just wing where u start counting from when u are trying to have a girl. I know I need to stop trying 2 1/2 to 3 days before ovulation. I had my AF on the 6th do I count from the 5th or 6th. so is it the 19th or 20th. I stopped intercourse on the mornin of the 15th. If its the 20th is there still a chance of conception how long before do u still have a chance?
Someone said up to five days but im unsure.

I know you count your first day of your period as day 1. You also need to know the day you ovulate, and it is not always on day 14, it all depends on your body and your cycles. You can track O by temping - when you temperature either drops or rises (can't remember which) is the day you ovulate. Make sure you take your temp 1st thing in the morning. You can also use a 'maybe baby' saliva test or OPK (urine test), both available at chemists. Female sperm swim slower but last longer - about 5 days. Male sperm swim faster but die sooner - about 2-3 days. Try to BD about 4 days before O and you will have a higher chance of having a girl, as all the male sperm would have died. It isn't guaranteed though. Good luck!

I was supposed to be TTC in Oct because Im going to be a bridesmaid in Oct But I will bearly be showing by them so Im not gonna wait around for someone elses wedding.

I Have been of contraception for 1 and a half cycles. It took 2 months with my first and I wasn't trying with #2 so :fingerscrossed: I have as much luck. Mind U I wasn trying for timing last times so I thibk it may take longer this time.
Any suggestions to help me. should I try not to swim or something till after ovulation. sounds silly but I thought It could wash it away. lol:laughing:
