What should i do??

Hi there Ladies,

Just q question...i am over duse for my AF as my cycle is roughly 35day...i did a test beginning of last week and go BFN and was wondering is it worth doing another test this week as i have heard that some people can test one day and get BFN and couple days later get BFP. Im alittle worried if i do test again i will get another BFN like all the other times and will be very dissappointed.
I also havent had any signs of my AF coming (belly pain ect).

Is there anyone that could help me here?????

there is another hubber that comes on here not very often, she didnt get a positive urine test until she was about 9 weeks.....she knew she was UTD cause she got a blood test...maybe you should try that! xxx

thanx....my mum didnt show up in a urine test at all and had to have blood tests taken so i might follow in her footsteps. i might try the home test again some time in the next couple weeks and see wot that shows otherwise i have doc appoinment start of september and if still nothing ill ask for bloods to be taken then.

I'm in the same boat as u at the moment AF is 5 days late and i tested yesterday and got BFN.. so im going to wait a few days re test and then go get a blood test if AF hasnt arrived.

How late is ur AF? and do u have regular cycles?

I suggest to wait a few more days then re- test

I'd definitely retest, and if still BFN, maybe wait until you are so late you know you MUST be pg and then get a blood test!

Dont punish yourself everytime you do a hpt. go and get a bt done then you will know for sure and you wont be dissapointed with your hpt if it is neg again. i know the bt results take longer but then you know for sure. good luck!!!

also, a BT will also tell the Dr if there is a reason why it is late ie. hormones, etc

Hi Ladies...
Im now 10days late as my cycle is roughly 35 days. i have missed 2 AF in a row earlier this year just after going off the pill but have had periods pretty close to the 35day mark give or take day or so...not 10 days.

I think ill do a hpt at the end of the week then see what that shows.

GO TO A MEDICAL CENTRE!!!!!!! that is so silly waiting for 3 weeks for a slip to get your blood taken!!! unreal! docs these days! eughhhhhh.

Ains, I have a stupid question for you - what is a medical centre? I thought that was just a place where lots of docs work. Does that mean you get in quicker? sorry, don't go to the doc very often, and have the same prob as larazie with having to wait a long time to get an appointment (usually not more than a week though).

A medical centre. There are a few different types. There is one that you book appts but you have the choice of many doctors. There there are others that you book in and when your number comes up you take whatever doc is free at that time. A bit like a hospital. Hope that helps.

i was going to ask the smae question as Fludo but baby dreaming answerd it for me.

i could go to just any doc to get slip but i want to go to the doc that i feel compfy with and that knows everything so far coz i hate having to tell the same story over & over & over &over......... if u know what i mean?

So i am willing to wait 3weeks to see that doc.

i am now 2cycles over due for AF and still getting :bfn: on my home pregnant tests.
I still haven't seen a doc yet but have a doc appointment on 3rd sept.
I like not having AF but still drives me crazy when i dont get AF (if you know what i mean) especially when we are ttc.

Im also about to start a program to lose weight..hopefully it'll help.
