I heard an old wives tale that the Vegimite in Vegimite Rusks helps heal and soothe split gums from teething. I couldn't find any at the shops so I covered DD's normal rusks in Vegimite and it took hours to clean her.....Does anyone know how to make them? Perhaps it would be less messy if the Vegimite is baked in

*bump*
At the day care I used to work at they used to make them out of bread cut into fingers with vegemite spread on before slowly baking them in the oven.(about 120 degrees for 30 minutes from memory) They keep well in an airtight container. They used to also make some with cheese on top of the vegemite.
Hope this helps..

I would definately be avoiding vegemite at that age - it is very high in sodium.

I once looked after a little girl who'd only munch on a rusk if you'd smeared it with vegemite first  She loved it. I think getting it all over her face was half the fun.
