Help i am new to all this talk and stuff! We are TTC bub #1 and but haven't been technically "trying" untill last two months but haven't been careful either! Am worried as I don't seem to get much cervical mucous! If I do it is dried goo normally and only a sliver usually! My cycles are 25-28 days long and before these last two months have only baby danced on maybe 1 day pre O but last month we did 2 days and then 1 day post O how often are people trying to up your chances? Should I be getting more cervical mucous? How often should we be BD I have been off my pill for 10 months! All my blood tests were ok and Ultra Sound was all clear as well! Has anyone else had the same thing of not much CM? Like i said it was only the last two months we really technically tried!:party::fingerscrossed::party::fingerscrosse d:

I'm only just new as well but have been trying for a little while now. I'm just getting serious with my charting as I'm confused over my cycles. Have you tried testing to see if you are ovulating? Sometimes it's good to take your temperature as then it will give you some indication of when you are ovulating and then you might notice a difference in your CM. Yes i am O'ing as my blood tests showed I was. I have tried the temp thing but as I am a nurse my waking hours are different every day and dont you have to test at the same time preferably morning every day? I do early shifts, late shifts and also night shifts so when i did the temps for 5 months it was all over the place! do you use lube? I ask because of lack of much CM. They say lube can inhibit the swimming of the sperm. You can get preseed which is supposed to be sperm friendly. So far, DH and I have just been using as little normal lube as possible.

I have heard taking Robutussin at certain times in your cycle can help increase CM, but you might want to research that a bit first.
