I am in Launceston area and was just interested to talk to other mums in the area. We have just had our first baby Ava who is 7 and a half weeks old. I never thought being a mum would be so amazing, every smile and gurgle is wonderful.

hi im semi close i live near dev does that count. Hobart is a little too far for us to go to sometimes due to hubbys work hrs. So i can go to Launie im heading that way on the 16th and 23rd to take parents to airport and pick them up too. Cany have them leave the state. They would have DGS (Darling Grand Son) withdrawls. lol i would love to meet other mummies from bubhub.

I'm very excited!! I'm coming home for 8 days at the end of August :smiliedance: It'll be DS's first trip to Tassie and I can't wait!

I'll primarily be in Devonport/Hawley Beach but will have a hire car and I'm going to be heading down to Hobart to catch up with family down that way.

I'd love to catch up with some Tassie mums while I'm there :thumbsup:

twinklestar - thanks for the offer of the help with the hire car. I might be able to use my Auntie's car while I'm home, cos she'll be in QLD with my mum LOL!! Just depends on insurance really. I'll let you know though :thumbsup:

Also, my brother lives in Port Sorrell, my BIL's parents are in Shearwater and my sister is in Hawley :laughing: so we'll DEFINITELY be neighbours!!

Seth and I land on the 25th and then leave on the 2nd. The 25th is my nephew's first birthday and I haven't met him yet - so I'm very excited!!

Mischief - please do PM me with details of a catch up. Do they still have the monkeys in the park in Launie? I'd love to take Seth there too :smiliedance:

Hi,

I live in Launceston, just had baby number 6 he will be 8 weeks old on Tuesday. The ages of my other kids is down the bottom.

I am also a grandmother to boy who is 20 months old and a girl who is 8 months old.
