Retained tissue after a D&C

Hi ladies...After a m/c 4 months ago i had a d&c....Since the d&c i thought everything was back to normal so df and i have been ttc.....
Anyways to cut a long story short i wondered why i wasn't falling p/g...After 2 u/s It turned out i still have some tissue retained in the uterus and i have to go and have another d&c done.....
This is totally freaking me out.
I mean what if after i have another d&c i cant fall p/g again...
What im wondering is....How many other ladies have had this happen to them before??
Have you gone on to have a normal p/g after more than 1 d&c??
Do the chances of m/c double due to scarring of the uterus???
Any input would be greatly appreciated,so i can atleast see a positive to all this......

Hi,

I am so sorry to hear what you have had to go through. I had a D&C just over a week ago and from what i was told it doesnt scar at all and should increase your chance of fertility not hinder it. So fingers crossed for some reason they stuffed up and yes you do have to go through it again but hopefully they will have it all and then it will happen as it should and you will get pregnant. I have heard of people having many D&C's but over a few years not such a small time frame like yours.

I cant really help but i hope it all works out just try to stay positive, harder than it sounds i know:)

They do increase your fertility, i had one after my m/c and was pregnant a week later i am now 12 weeks.

Hi girls...just an update about whats going on...
Its seems the tissue wasnt from the m/c.Apparetly was just from the uteral lining...So i couldnt be happier.Atleast i dont have to have another d&c..
