What to do next?

I have just had a blood test done to see if I am Ovulating. The results are in and I am not ovulating.

I did get pregnant after 6 months of trying and then miscarried after 6 weeks. Since then we have been trying for a further 7 months. Should I be feeling relived that a reason for the delay has been found or should I be worried that I still may never be able to conceive?

I hope someone can help me with some good and positive information. AF arrived again today so I am feeling a bit low, but also good as I now I know the reason we have not been able to get pregnant again.

Gyno has asked me to make an appointment to see him see if him. Can anyone give me any information as to what to expect? I can't get into see see him until the 24th of July and there are a million thoughts running through my head.

be happy that there is a reason that you have not concieved! but be even happier because there is a magic pill that can help you!!!!

i also do not ovulate but because of this wonderful little pill i do now!!!!

it is called CLOMID! it used to make me moody and gives me headaches but not now because i have been doing accupuncture! it helps SO MUCH!!!

good luck at the gyno, she will probably put you on a low dose of clomid and then give you a blood test on day 21 of your cycle to see if you have ovulated. if you have, great! if not, your gyn will up the dose.
the thing with clomid is you should only do 6 months of it...i am on month 4! nearly finnished...i am a little stressed out with that because my next option is IVF!

hopefully you dont need to go through ivf and everything will be fine! good luck!:hugs:

Thanks so much for your reply. I have just been reseaching about clomid as I had seen people post about it before. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you and I am sure you will get your :bfp: before you know it.

I think I have convinced my DH to get his little swimmers checked out aswell. Might aswell know that everything else is clear.

I have just read your reply in another thread, and I wanted to give you a big :hugs: that this is a set back for you but you know what I think that after this D&C it will make things all clean and clear paving your way to a successful BFP! When do you go in for the D&C?

Hope all goes well when go get back in to see the gyne and I agree at least you found out a reason for not getting pregnant so look at the positives and there is a light at the end!
