10 Year High School Reunion - Venues - Help!

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if you could help. I have volunteered to help our ex-school captain do some stuff for our high school reunion as she is living in Canada.

Now I need help!! I am looking for some venues that will do a cocktail style function reasonably priced. We are looking probably somewhere a little more upmarket (but not TOO upmarket) and hopefully somewhere close to town (Brisbane).

The other thing is she wants it either on the weekend of the 24th November or 1st of December. So I am going to have to act fairly quickly as that Christmas Party Season!

Any help you can give would be great!

What about the Kookaburra Queen or the river Queen i think its called. It oooked safer then the party boats but i know you can get charter ed ones.
