Hi we are getting married on the 6th october this year... We have bought the bridesmaides and groomsmens presents as a thankyou for being part of our very special day but we are stuck as to what to buy for a thankyou present for our parents...
Any ideas??

A nice pot plant in a nice pot, something crystal like a vase, a coffee machine.

hi there i just did this hehe it took me ages to find the perfect presents!!

We ended up getting them a gorgeous bohemia crystal glass set with a carafe for each of them :)

Other things I looked at were mantle clocks which could have a plaque on them engraved with names and wedding date. A watch for the men/ bracelet for the woman also could be engraved. Jewelerry box for the woman that could be engraved.


I'm sure I had some more ideas but thats a start, if you want some more let me know and I'll try to remember what else I looked at. I bought my parents and inlaws present yesterday and I was SO happy when I found them!! :)

i found it hard to but for my parents and in-laws in the end i bought my mum a coffee machine and for my in-laws we bought them a digital camera, all the other ideas are great as well.

we gave our parents some photos from the wedding in really nice frames, they were thrilled :) good luck with your big day

Arrange to have flowers delievered a day or two after the wedding. Thats what we did. I don't see that you need to buy them presents, it all gets a bit out of hand really.

Hey, here is something for you! Saw it in todays paper over here.

Some billionare's only daughter got married and he splashed out on a 1500 guest wedding. Flowers were 850,000 euros, and each guest got a fold Cartier pen valued at 500 euros...

We got both sets of parents a gold coin engraved with a thankyou message and our wedding date. :)
We went to western australia for our honeymoon and got them done at the mint in perth.
we got ourselves a commemorative wedding coin made aswell.
(we got engaged in perth and had an engagement coin done, so we kind of kept the theme going!)
