Does paw paw freeze?

Hello fellow earthlings...

I purchased half a paw paw with the intention of feeding it to the dude and did not take into account that with servings the size of an ice cube, it will take a good 6 months before the dude finishes it...

I don't eat it and DP hates it too, so can I puree it up and freeze it? Will it go all gross when I thaw it in the microwave?

I have no idea but would suggest that if you do try it that you don't microwave defrost it - just stick it in the fridge overnight or on the kitchen bench for half an hour in the current climate and you should be right!
