Im Getting married!!!!

Hey Everyone,

Thought i would introduce myself in here, as this part is why i am on the forum for the time being.

My fiance Ross and I have been together for over 5 years now! He proposed to me on valentines day this year, and ofcourse i said yes! We have made the date for the 20th of September 2008, so that gives us plenty of time to save and to plan!

So far the wedding plans are coming along nicely. We have the Celebrant booked and Ceremony area thought of, Reception thought of but not booked, My dress is on laybuy and nearly off laybuy, got my wedding jewellery, Bridesmaids picked, my mother is making the bridesmaids dresses so we have the pattern for that, Picked who is oing hair abd make up, picked what flowers we want, got the material and stuff for mum to make the ring cushion, she is also making my hand bag and cake, got thinking of bonbinniere ideas, Got the colour scheme happening and there is alot more, but cant remeber atm lol.

So happy about how everything is going! I love my fiance so so much!!! Valentine

Nice to meet you. I got married last Saturday and it was truley one of the best days of my life apart from when my daughters where born. All the best with the planning and hope everything turns out exactly they way it should.

iam getting married also in october next year we havent booked anything of yet but know where we going to have the reception and wedding at, which is at the same place

how long do u have to book in advance

and i can ask with the bridesmaid dresses do u, usually have to pay for it yoursleves or u get the bridesmaid to pay for them
and for their hair and makeup aswell.

YAY!.. I'm getting married too! *L*..

We have our date set to 3rd November this year and I already have several things organised such as the wedding venue and reception has been booked. I have my dress, earrings & necklace. We have chosen the bridesmaids dresses and have them now and the bridesmaids have their jewellery. We have our celebrant, my son's tuxedo, and the mens suits will be organised very soon. I know what flowers I am having and just have to organise those. We have the cake half paid for, and are currently organising a Limosine to take us for photos!..

Oh how much fun it has been!.. NOT!.. I will be glad once the day is here I think!.. The organisation is getting very tedious!..

Ummm not sure but atleast a year i think in advance so that you can get the exact places/dates that you want! I am going to book as soon as we have made our final decisions....

Usually the bridesmaids pay for thier dresses, not sure about make up and hair.

My bridesmaids are paying for thier dresses, and i am getting thier jewellery as my gift to them. Think i might pay for the make up and hair as well, Not to sure yet...

I am so excited! ill try and get some pictures up Monday when i am at work, cant do it now as my man will see my dress lol! :D

JEN13: I think ill be glad when all the wedding plans are done and over with! Its so hard to decide thing! Plus the money that is involved with it all!! Some has been fun thou!!!

I'm getting married in 14 days! We have been together for 4.5 years and unofficially engaged for about a year but he didnt officially pop the question until December 27th 06!! We booked our venue on January 26th and its been go go go ever since! :)

Im getting married on the 6th october this year everything booked and sorted just waiting for the RSVPs now to do the seating for the reception and get our parents a thankyou present and were done.....
its very exciting i cant wait for the day now...

Just wanted to introduce myself as I'm also getting married !

DF asked me to marry him March this year and we planned to get married October 08 , unfortunately we have to spend about $10,000 on my teeth which set us back a bit so we have now decided we'll prob get married March 09 which will still be gorgeous being Autumn and all but I really was hoping for a Spring wedding but anyway still extremely happy !!:)
Haven't organised much yet , have looked into some things but thought I'd start organising properly at the beginning of next year , although we have def found the venue !So that's exciting !!
Anyway , Goodluck with your plans ,
