Hi ladies,
I've started charting temp this month and I'm on CD21 but have 41 day cycles ATM, so I'd say I'm ovulating later in the cycle (like from now to day 27 approx., if at all). My temps have been hovering around 36.1 & 36.2, went up to 36.3 today. I think I've been feeling my cervix. When I insert a finger :o right up the top towards the back I've been feeling something round and hard(ish), today when I felt around it was alot higher up and felt more 'open' if that makes sense. CM is white and claggy looking, but not stringy, slippery like lotion or egg whitey looking yet and I feel quite wet  (down there). Does it sound like I'm working up to O??? Sorry for TMI, but would love some thoughts/opinions! Thanks heaps
:fingerscrossed:

Emsmum, Im afraid I cant help that much, but thought someone should respond! :) I track my cervix, but honestly, I think mine is only soft and open for like 2 hours before I ovulate because 9 times out of 10, its high and firm. Mine personally stays high and firm until after ovulation where it goes low and medium. It may just take a few months to get used to what yours does. Personally I look at cm more than cp since it can get so confusing for me. Good luck!! :)

God love ya, thanks for responding  . The only reason I've started trying to work out my cervix this month is because I can never really tell with the CM whether I am (if I am at all) Oing. Who knows. Isn't having PCOS and TTC fun?? NOT

I COMPLETELY understand what you mean! You get anything that even somewhat resembles ewcm and you decide to jump dh! Course that means you are bd'ing more than there are days in the week, haha! :) Have you tried using opks? If you know roughly how long your cycles are (41 days), you might have good success using them? Get them online at ebay tho (or lullabyconceptions) as they arent as expensive! :)

A few weeks before FS confirmed I have PCOS and put me on Metformin I told him I used an OPK, got a positive result, BDed but not pregnant. He told me not to bother using OPK's at this stage because having PCOS can give you an inaccurate reading! It's so confusing hearing different things from different people. My main concern is if I fall pregnant do I stop taking Metformin again as soon as I get a BFP like he told me to last time and I M/C, or do I take it for the first trimester like I'm reading heaps on the net in the hope of preventing M/C! Ggggrrrr

Unfortunately I cant tell you what you should do, but from my understanding, once you are on Met, and your hormones are regulating, you should have more accurate results with the opks. Ive taken probably 100 of them and have only gotten a + when I ovulated. So, I wouldnt discount them completely. As for the Met during pregnancy, my endo at first said to continue it and then said not to. I personally will most likely continue it at least thru the 1st trimester. The stuff Ive been reading suggests its ok and prevents GD, etc. Again, its a case-by-case thing and is so personal, but those are my thoughts...chew the meat and spit out the bones! :)
