equivocal blood test result??

Hiya

In the last week I have done 2 HPT and both were BFP! Buy when i had a blood test yesterday i was told that the results were "equivocal" and i needed to have another one in 4 days. what does this mean? im a tad confused...

equivocal means Open to two or more interpretations

maybe the results were borderline. I know they say that if there is hcg in your bloods but level is below a certain point it is classed as neg. Hope this helps. Goodluck with the retest

I was told something similar with DD and my Dr explained in simple terms you're borderline HCG levels so it looks like you're a little bit pregnant and made them re-test 3 times. I'd just implanted a little later then I thought or something like that, my DD is now 18mo so hopefully it is just something like that for you.
