View Full Version : New to the site & new to Jimboomba area
G'day all
We just moved out to Jimboomba (got the kids settled well into a new school and they love it). Just wandering if anyone out there is from this area. I don't know anyone out here and really looking forward to meeting people.
I have a daughter in year 2 and a son in year 1 and am due in about 5 weeks with number 3. I am excited and nervous at the same time.
Am loving this site with its endless information and different peoples views on the world.

Hi there Di,
Im Donna, 25, married to Justin, 26, with a 14mth old baby boy Lachlan. I also have one on the way.
I live at Springfield Lakes, but Im always out at Jimboomba where my parents live, well actually they live at Cedar Grove, about 10mins from the Jimboomba Township.
Im very close with my parents, so I do tend to spend alot of my time out that way. I would love to meet for a coffee, well actually I dont drink coffee, tea perhaps, but would love to meet you.
Im in the same situation where we have just moved to Sprigfield Lakes, but dont know anyone.
I promise you one thing, since I have found this site a week ago, I am absolutely blown away with how many freindships are made here. Everyone is so caring, and genuine. Im sure you will love it here!!
Take care for now, hope to hear from you soon
Donna

Hello congratulations on your pregnancy, I don't live near Jimboomba , but welcome to bubhub, I am sure you will have lots of fun and great advice in here:)
I've often wondered where Jimboomba was. I've been to most places in Australia in my life but I'm sure that's not one of them. Anyway Hi and wlecome and don't be afraid befriend people from other regions.

Hi Di-78
Hey my name is Amanda and I live in the suburb right next to you in Munruben. It is so lovely living out here in the bush land with lots of space and lovely neighbours.
I have been married for nearly 15mths and have a nearly 15mth old daughter Caitlin. She was born 11 days before our wedding. She was born 11 weeks early.
If you are interested in meeting some mums have a look at the Thread about Browns Plains mums catching up. We may be meeting next Thursday at Grand Plaza if you are interesed.
Hi and welcome!
I don't live in Jimboomba but i used to live in Canungra! I went to High School in Beaudesert and i'm still out there all the time because that's where my in-laws live.
It's such a beautiful area to live in, i'm sure you'll love it there! :)
