I was wondering if anyone has any experiences with Crown, Bubble Gum, Little People, Munchkins - or any others. They seem to vary from no fee, no exclusivity up to $500 fee and exclusivity. So I'm a little unsure which one to register with. I'd also welcome any feedback from anyone who has modelled their babies (my angel is almost 11 months). What was it like?

Hi Rileysmum. I haven't modelled my DD so can't offer any advice but wanted to welcome you to Bubhub. You're in my neighbourhood :)

Hi Martha, thank you for the welcome!! This is my first time trying this sort of internet chat stuff, so it's great to get some feedback. Out of interest, when you say you're in my neighbourhood, do you mean HH? By the way, I love the piccie of your daughter!! :) I might see if I can work out how to add a piccie of Riley.

Yep. I'm in HH. We just moved to Melbourne.
If you want to add a pic you can do it by clicking on your User Control Panel (top blue menu) and then choose Edit Avatar. Pics need to be fairly small, 80x80 pixels. There is an avatar resizer program that a lot of members use, or you can use any photo editor.

Gosh it is a small world! We've only be here for a couple of years, but quite like the location. I've tried the avatar, this post will tell me if it works....... OK, didn't work, avatar resizer program? I'm off to search to search the web.

There is a link to the avatar resizer in this old thread: http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?t=4360

Hi Rileysmum, welcome to bubhub. I'm sure you will enjoy this site!
I haven't had any experience with those agencies however my son is signed up with 'Bettina's' agency. He joined about a month ago and has just got his first job. He has a photo shoot for a target calalouge, tomorrow accually!
I am very happy with this agency so far.
Good luck.

Hi Bubbles28
Thank you for the welcome!
How exciting, if I've got my dates right your son did his first photo shoot yesterday. How exciting! How did it go? Based on your avatar piccie my bet is he was an absolute star!!!
Thanks for the tip on Bettina's, I'm off to look them up and get some more info.

Thankyou Rileysmum. Yes it was yesterday and Julian did really well. He did everything they said without too much of a hiccup. The catalouge comes out on the 16 of Feb or the week after. I can't wait to see it.
Good luck with finding an agency to represent your beautiful bub.

I'm going to keep my eye out for the catalogue, it would be great to see his piccies. I gave Bettina's a call. They have booked us in for an interview, but I am a little reluctant about their fees. A majority of the fee appears to be for the professional photo shoot - do you think it was worth it? Did you get photo's to keep? Also, if you don't mind me asking, how much did Julian earn from his first job?

Yes, most of the fees go to the photographer. You do get copies of the photo's that they use for his portfolio and you have the option to buy the rest if you want them. Well basically Julian earned back half of the fees that we paid so he needs another job to pay for the whole fee. I think it was worth it because I just want to see my little bub in the catologue!

Thank you for sharing your experience. It's helping me to make up my mind to go ahead.
