Yep, we spell our Lachlan's nickname as "Lochie", when it is spelt with an "a" instead of an "o" I say it how it sounds (you know Lack - ie) and it sounds silly!

I picked the name from the beginning because of the nickname - I just love it. His brother calls him "Loch" also which sounds really cute (used to be Loch Loch when he was younger).

My fave cousin is Lachlan. We (his family) all call him Lachlan and never shorten it, but his friends all call him (and spell it) Locky.

Another gf has a Lachlan and they also spell his nickname Locky.
