So, my mum bought Ava this gorgeous little Pumpkin Patch jumper recently. She's worn it a couple of times... not for very long periods of time, though.
Anyway my mum visited recently and was doing all my washing (god bless her).
She picked up the little jumper and was admiring it because it's so darn cute and then all of a sudden she starts talking about how badly it was made.
So I walked over to her and she showed me how the little embellishments of wool weren't secured properly on the jumper. We turned it inside out to find that they were basically just looped through a couple of times and hooked under.
She pulled out three with barely a soft tug.
One was all frayed and coming loose by itself.
The jumper probably cost my mum at least $50 knowing PP. I'm kind of disgusted to tell you the truth. You get better quality kids clothes for half the price at Target. I'm probably being pedantic, but I just figure that if you have to pay more for a babies jumper than you would an adults then it should be good quality.
Ava could have easily pulled the woolen threads out herself and choked on them.
God knows there's no way it would have held up for long after being washed a few times.
I was always under the impression that PP made good quality clothing and that's why they were so bloody expensive. Apparently I was mistaken.
I'm rather peeved.

Is anyone else having problems posting new threads? I tried posting this a few times with Firefox and it wouldn't work.
