omg- i might not be ovulating

My friend had her gyno app today (6 week check up since birth of her 2nd) and while she was there she asked about me. She told the doc how my periods are every 32-38 days and that the last one was 44.
He said most likely i am either not ovulating or not ovulating right.
He said that he can help me regulate my ovulation and therefore fall pregnant...he said to her 'not a problem'.
I have managed to get an appointment this sat morning.
Ive already had a cry...:crying:
I guess that is why i had no LH surge on my OPK last month...

not ovulating sux!!!! i have NEVER ovulated!!!
No af and NO ovulation!!! i went to my docs and he refered me to a fs! there are so many options and i would advise you to get full abdominal ultrasounds and blood tests!

dont stress cause it makes the body stress!!! okp's for me dont show up positives and i KNOW for sure that i do ovulate now with my clomid!!!

Well I trust this doc 100% as i know 3 women who have been to him and he has been in the game for many, many years, so i am so happy to be going to someone i trust...
When my friend had trouble the first time, he did tests like pelvix exmas etc on her and she fell preg and then he helped her fall preg again after her m/c. Now she has 2 bubs!

I had cycles just like yours and was worried that maybe I wasn't ovulating, but managed to fall pregnant after 3 cycles. When I went to my GP to confirm preg. she was very surprised that I had managed to fall considering my cycles.

thats really good that you have a doc that you trust!!! i am not fully happy with my fs....but he is giving me clomid and i am ovulating, but next time i visit him i want to have another ultrasound! i am just not sure about my tubes, because i have never had an af unless it was medically induced i am worried about the old build up!!! but TIME WILL TELL!!!!

Thanks sooo much. Im hoping that after a blood test, he will detect i o'ed this cycle!
I guess its the irregularity that makes it hard to know when to do OPK tests and bd etc, its mentally draining.

just wanted to say, not sure if you think you aren't ovulating because of a longer cycle or irregular. my cycles are 42-45 days (have always been) and i got pregnant when i Oed late.

I have heard many people say the same, i guess 'irregular' may mean that its a high % than i dont o correctly or at all. Im hoping i do, its just around 14 days before either day 32 or 38!

tell me when you say you don't get a LH surge on the OPK's what happens? For 2 days a month i get a 'surge' in LH compared to other days but it is never quite as dark as the control line.
the instructions say this means I'm not ovulating but I always get AF 14 days after I should have ovulated.

it's confusing..just wondered if you experienced similar?

I used to have circles exactly like urs and until i seen my Gyno she ran tests and i hadnt been ovulationg the whole 12 months we had been trying before seeing her.

Can't wait ~ i'd say u are O'n but u may just miss the full surge thats why ur not getting the darkest line on a OPK.
This month i havent O'd and i didnt get any Strong second line on a OPK, where's the last 2 months i had got the surge.

I just looked in my diary and i got an almost positive on Lullaby OPK day 21 and then a stonger almost positive (Ovunow OPK) on day 28 then AF day 45, so thats 17 days later. I havent used them any other time.

Well, I think the dr could be right...or he could be wrong. I have 45 day cycles and ovulate (according to temps), so I dont think that because you are having long cycles it automatically means your arent ovulating. I conceived my son on cd 60! Anyway, I would get checked out...are you temping or charting to see if you are ovulating? It wont hurt to see him so he can confirm his diagnosis if thats the case, but dont write yourself off just yet! :)

I started using FF late (day 16) and according to FF I am 4 dpo, but it said it might not be accurate cause my CM doesnt match up.
I think i got some ferning around the same time as my temp change, but I also got some transitional ferns (really small) yesterday morning and night. :confused: . Both occasions of suppose o'ing i got pains in the o area and feelings of 'period back pain'. Something is telling my my body is really out of wack!

FF isnt an exact science, so really time will tell. If its saying you're 4dpo, then in approximately 10 days if you get af (or pg!), you'll know you did in fact ovulate. In my opinion, I wouldnt trust the ferning because my microscope shows ferns when Im not ovulating and I get no ferns when I am, so its not really helpful (in my case anyway). I also get cramps and backache when I ovulate, so thats a promising sign! I wish I could offer more advice, but you may just need to wait it out....keep us posted! :)

I know just how much of a shock it is to find out that you might not be ovulating. I found this out last March. I was devestated. I hope you get some answers on Saturday and that your :bfp: is just around the corner.

Doctors are so clever with what they can make our bodies do these days.

I dont really ovulate either, but after a few round of clomid, I was ovulating.

Try not to stress to much. May be all you need is a round or 2 of clomid! :thumbsup:
