Summer has been complaining all week and holding her leg saying 'Owwie' so obviously it hurts. I have checked her out but I can't see anything wrong with it. No scratches, bruises ANYTHING but she has still been complaining. It's worse at night when we go to sleep she holds her head and tells me it hurts. Do you think it could be growing pains? Should I take her to the doctor to get it checked out? I just want to help her :gloomy:
Also I've thought it might be asleep so I've massaged it for her but that doesn't help either?
poor thing it could be growing pains... cramp... might be best take her to docs to be safe??
poor Summer! :hugs:

It probably is growing pains, but I would take her to the dr. just to be sure. My littel sister was complaining of a sore leg at about the same age but it looked fine. Eventually took her to the dr., ended up she had a hairline fracture and had to get her leg in plaster!!!!

I have heard of cases in the past where children have complained of pain and its been something more serious (ie problems with their bones). I'm sure its probably nothing, but IMO - if Claire was complaining of pain, it was consistent and clearly not an attention-seeking behaviour, then I would DEFINITELY be taking her to a GP.

Okay thanks for the advice, I will take her to get checked up just to be sure!
