I saw it today with my own eyes (well most of it because I was late).

Kaiden is no longer the lone Australian in his family. Kaidensmum and fly by night poster Kaidensdad took up Australian citizenship today.

So moved by the event was she that she even gave me a hug. Which will surprise anyone who knows Kaidensmum.

Good on you Mel and Phil. I am so glad that have I met you despite the fact that you were a kiwi. I hope my kids can still call you kiwi. :)

I'm always impressed when Kiwis decide to become Aussie citizens, because it's so easy just to go on not bothering. My mother's been here since 1963 and is still just a permanent resident...Poor form ;)
