anyone got a recipie for a really creamy yummy chocolate icing??
I made a banana cake, and i want to put some really yummy icing on it, not just boring icing sugar cocoa powder and water. Can i add melted to choc to that? Would it work?

You could try making a butter icing.

soft butter, cocoa, icing sugar and i usually add a little milk to get the right consistency.

otherwise i used to make a topping out of chocolate shavings and whipped cream. just whip the cream then stir in the shaved choc.

i made it like normal icing, but added butter and melted choc, it seems to have worked, it tastes so yummy.

might be a bit late but for banana cake I always make cream cheese icing. mmm
philli cheese, butter, icing sugar and a little bit of lemon or lime juice. Best icing ever!

I can NEVER seem to make truly delicious icing - it's always kinda gross.

However, there is an easy one for chocolate - it's just melted chocolate and double cream. Mix it togehter... there you go (it's obviously a lovely soft icing).

If you want to be REALLY lazy, the best icing in the world is Betty Crocker's chocolate frosting. You can get it in these big tubs in the cake-mix section of the shopping centre... and OMG it's hte best thing!
