What do you do with pooey nappies when you are out and have to change one when you aren't near a loo?

hahah. I just roll it up, put it in a plastic bag or wetbag, and deal with it when I am at home. My zippered wetbag is great, cause it keeps all the smells in :D

Pretty much what Ikis84 said. Wipes just go in with the dirty nappy aswell (I use cloth wipes). When you get home you just get as much poo off into the loo then wash as normal.

Letting the poo sit there for a few hours isn't going to do any damage. If it was left for a few days then you might have a problem (a very stinky problem!!) in getting stains out.

Roll up, shove in plastic bag, tuck away somewhere in nappy bag and hold nose :laughing:

Nahh, just kidding, it's not that stinky unless you're going to be out all day. I have a little wetbag that came with a peapod nappy ages ago (the only part of the nappy that still has some use) and although it's just a drawstring one it keeps all the smells inside.

Another good idea is to keep a couple of larger zip-lock bags in the nappy bag for these times :yes: Yeah it's plastic, yeah it's disposable... but well justified I say :D

I use plastic shopping bags that I still have just sitting in the corner of the kitchen. Once used I rinse them out, dry them in the sun and reuse.

you can reuse the ziplock bags too, the same way gremily discribed with the shopping bags

I usually use a liner when out (Enees), so I just piff the poo straight into a public loo after DS is harnessed back in his pram - and then put the nappy in my Pea Pod bag. (Ditto pookiesossige, its the only part that works any more!!).

I just couldn't face a day old poo when I got home! :laughing:

Depends.

Usually I'll use disposable liners when out... but on the times I forget I just roll it up, stick it in a plastic bag and deal with it as soon as I get home.
