Can you help me please

Just the last week or so my bird (indian ring neck) has been tipping his whole water bowl over so when i go to check on him or come home he has no water why is he doing this and how can i stop him.

My dog does the same thing. I have been told it is because they are smart and lake stimulation. We have to put a brick in the bucket to stop her from tipping it over now.

My suggestion is a heavier container. Maybe a ceramic ramekin or something similar.

He's probably doing it for something to do. They get bored really, really easily. Does he have lots of toys?
As for solving it, you could get one of the long tube type water contains. They sit on the outside of the cage with just a little bit inside for them to drink out of. That might fix it.

thanks guys yous are prolly right, he has got toys but maybe he is sick of them. ill get him some news ones i could also peg it down maybe:thumbsup:

he might be bathing in it and accidently knocking it over put two bowls in and attach on to the cage side. is he moulting?
