I voted for 'private patient in private hospital'. I guess I never really thought about anything else as I knew which OB I wanted and where I wanted to go.

I'm going Public in a Public Hospital... I'm lucky enough to have my own OB who delivers at a Public Hospital...

I was in the public system with DD and couldn't possibly have asked for better care!

Some of the mums in my mothers group who went private had a terrible experience.

My theory...why pay for something when you can get it for free? LoL (can you tell i'm stingy?)

Went self-funded private with DS1 which was a great experience.

I had blood clot complications from 27wks with DS2 so I had to go public. Lucky I did because I had a retained placenta (nothing to do with blood clots) and in theatre within 45 mins. If I had've been in the private they would have had to transfer me straight away (Its a very small private hospital).

I was in the public for 8 days and the care was fantastic.

I've just booked into the public hospital again.
