Cranberry juice and buckets of water. Go to chemist and get some Ural and you really should see a doctor.

If lotsa water, cranberry juice and ural won't flush it out then you usually need a short course of antibiotics. If it's early stages then the afore metioned usually works and I take panadol as well so I can deal with the pain whilst it goes away.

I take high potency cranberry tabs daily to stop UTI reoccurring.

Thanks girls, i usally get the antibiotics but now that i'm pregnant i thought i'd ask if there was a way to treat it without them.

I was so addicted to Cranberry Juice throughout both pregnancies!! I got a nasty UTI at 27 weeks with my son. I thought I was going into labour the pain was that bad. I went to the hospital and they did a wee test and put me on strong antibiotics. That seemed to fix it up good and proper!

I too recommend the cranberry juice -however, if you have low iron stores I would avoid it as cranberry's hinder your iron absorption;)

i say skip the cranbery juice go straight for the tablets. If i feel one coming on i take 2 cranberry tablets, 2 vit c, drink 1 to 2 litres of water.

But if its already developed i go straight for antibiotics, mine flare up so quickly its just too painful. My gp gives me scripts in advance and i always travel with a box of antibiotics.

Ive taken them during pregnancy, they are safe, keflex.
