Night Nappy!

My 27 month old daughter has just gone into undies (or "unders" to her) throughout the day. Yippee!! I am so proud of her!! :D

She generally sleeps right through the night and wakes up in the morning with a damp rather than wet nappy. I was wondering when others changed from nappies to knickers for nighttime and how did you go about it? Should I wait until she asks to have no nappy at bedtime or wait until she wakes up totally dry in the mornings?

I am not keen on using pull-ups or dry nights as I figure she may as well stay in a nappy but would these be worthwhile for a couple of weeks?

I started by leaving the nappy off but putting him on the potty (next to the bed) a couple of times during the night when he stirred and wanted a feed (this was before we night weaned). At about 11pm and then 2pm and then he'd be right until morning.
It took about a month and then he was dry right through- mostly.
Last night he wet the bed for the first time in ages but I guess it's just one of those things...

How old was Felix when you started night training?

I think I might give her about a week or so now she has gotten the hang of toileting through the day. She sleeps dry through the day but only sleeps for about 1 - 1 1/2 hours.

I had a chat to her main carer at her daycare and she suggested having a potty beside the bed too, at least until she gets used to waking up to go to the toilet.
