Parents Group Quinns Rock area?

I have recently moved to the Quinns area and would like to join a parents group in the local area. I do not know anyone up here and only have 1 family member in WA. I'm in my early 30's with a 2yo boy. I am also single and missing the adult company. I started a part time job this week but would like to interact with other mums with kids around the same age as mine.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction. Thankyou

I don't live in that area, but I found my mums group through my local CHC.. maybe that could be a starting place? Otherwise you are always welcome to join us bubhubbers on our (becomming more regular) outings. There is one coming up soon in Osborne Park (3rd Feb) check out the thread. We'd love to see you there!

Thankyou for your reply, what does CHC mean, I'm sorry I'm very new at this as I have worked since my son was 6wks old so I have never looked this sort of stuff up before.
I appreciate the invite to your meetings in Osy Park and would love to come (sorry there's a but) but, I would like something a little closer. Being only part time working and single finances are tight and with fuel prices the way they are if I can get something closer to home it would be better for me. Don't get me wrong I would love to join you all.

I think CHC means Child Health Centre, can be found under that in the White Pages.

I totally understand finances....i work and study-(from home)
i have a friend that has just moved to quinns....so now im up there more often

I am free Mondays and Thursdays. When are you free or when do you usually come up this way?
It would be good to meet new people up here, maybe start our own group to get the ball rolling with mothers groups in the Quinns area.
