:wave: Hi everyone for those intending to go to Blacktown - I just wanted to say that we gave birth to a beautiful little girl at Blacktown Hospital last Friday.
Originally we were booked in for the birth centre and were looked after by the midwives for all our check ups/ antenatal care however we ended up being overdue and had my waters broken which led us to have dd in the labour ward.
This was fine because we still had midwives assisting us and they were fantastic. I'm so glad we chose to have baby at Blacktown because it was an amazing birth experience.
DP does not give compliments lightly and yet he had only good things to say about the midwives who assisted us and made it truly memorable.
I opted for the early discharge program and i was able to leave later that afternoon only because I wanted the comforts of home and familiar sounds for dd. Midwives come to see us at home through this program to make sure everythings fine.
