Has your mum/grandmother, other relative, given you a recipe that you love. Do you cook it as well as they do/did??

I have a few of my mum's that I can remember, including beef stroganoff, chicken spaghetti, and I cook a pretty mean roast lamb (thanks to my mum). I wish I'd inherited my nan's ability to make shortbreak bickies, they were the best.

What recipes have been passed down to you from a family member?

My mums creamed chicken and her choc chip biccies. I tried hundreds of biccy recipes before I finally convinced her to give me hers. Thereis none like it.

And finally after about 2 years I have her recipe for custard cake.

The only specific one handed down to me is my Nanna's Tuna Pinwheels.
Basically Tuna and corn stuffed cannelloni with cheese sauce.

The one I really wanted was my mum's Curried Rice and Pork salad.
She actually denies that she ever made it - but I know for a fact she did, because even my cousin remembers it
(think my mother may be losing her marbles)
