an ouchy topic...
for the past few years I have used phillips ice hair remover (similar to an epilady) but I find that it doesn't remove the really small hairs, so your legs always feel rough. I have been thinking of getting a new one and was wondering if any one else out there uses a similar product and if it removes the really short hairs...

Hi Einalem
I bought an epilady and HATED it:mad: . And that was after YEARS of waxing. The problem being that it is just an ENDLESS torture of pluck, pluck, pluck:eek: - whereas waxing is *RIP* but its all over in a millisecond. So I didn't care much about the result, it was just too painful. I went back to waxing and gave my epilady to a friend (she wanted to give me MONEY, but I just COULDN'T take it :D ).

From what I remember it wasn't really good for little hairs either...

Best of luck - maybe see if you can borrow one to try before you buy?

If you don't mind a little pain, and it's definately not as bad as an epilady... I use a SilkEpil (I think that's how it's spelt). LOL

My girlfriend lent me hers and I loved it, she then was kind enough to buy me one for my birthday...

Happy hair removal shopping!

I use a Braun Silk Epil, too. I mostly wax and use the silk epil when a few stray hairs come thorugh soon after my wax. This works really well for me.

Love,
Nan. xx
