Bonjour Sarah et Elise,

I know how you feel! I have recently moved from Sydney and have found the same thing - not many friends here and a little lonely :(

I have just started doing some research on playgroups in my area and came across this one which may be of interest to you if you want Elise to be in a french speaking environment. I'm not sure where Cashmere is or how far it is to Paddington?!

Anyway, welcome and I'm sure that there will be many girls in and around your area more than happy to catch up!

Bonne chance

Thank you Mel, I do know of Les petits Poucets because it is attached to the school organisation of Les Petits Princes where I teach French every Saturday during school term. The organisation has moved since we were in Paddington and have now relocated at Brisbane Grammar School. It is for Australian kids who wish to learn french and also for french kids to improve their language. http://www.lespetitsprinces.org.au/english/about.htm

I am not my best today, I have a very bad cold and feel miserable. Will try to catch up with all the ladies who posted a message for me in the next few days.

Love Sarah (Sneeeeeezzzzzzzze) !! & Elise

hi all,
i am from brighton , qld.
i look after my 19 month daughter and have just recently separated from my wife and looking for my daughter to get out and play with other boys and girls of similar age.
there are so many threads in bub hub where everyone from the northside are meeting one and another it's a shame we can't all get together at a park somewhere.
also it's a shame alot of the parks that have children climbing frames etc are for slightly older children where there are steep drops and ladders too hard for little 'uns to climb.
does anyone know of a todder friendly park?
look frward to any replies.

Hi Sarah,
I am coming to work at Redcliffe Hospital and am looking for a French teacher to come to the house and teach George (1) and Millie (almost 3) French. They already understand as have been learning for a while. Would you be interested?
Kind regards
Nicole
