I had my bubs 2 month check up last week and she was the correct weight and correct head circumfrence but when we did her height we noticed that she was really tall infact she was way above average and outside the little grid they mark it on. Im only 5ft 1 is anyone else going through this or been through this? should I be concerned?

What did your health nurse say? DD was really tall on the top line, there isnt anything wrong with her :) maybe ask if its a good or bad thing but i am sure you would have been told if it was

she is way above the top line.. I put her next to a baby that was a week older and she looked like a giant.. BTW she did her first laugh today.. but it wasnt at me :(

Don't be concerned, there is a very good chance that she was measured wrong, I don't know how many times I went back to the health centre to find that my baby had shrunk. Of course this is not possible so we knew that the last measurment was just incorrect. Also babies dont really take on there genetic growth factors in the first 12 months. She probally had a great womb to live in for 9 months and is just reaping the benifits of that. You will probally find that if the measurment was correct, that she will slowly start to slow down, and get somewhere near her normal percentile at around the 12 month check up! Goodluck and don't worry!

all babies are different and grow at different rates... lily is 'underweight' according to the weight charts (which are based on bottle fed babies anyway) but she is in the top 95th percentile for her length/height!! then again, DP and i are both over 6ft tall, so it's hardly surprising. :P
