Nice stash L-L.
I suppose now this gives me an excuse to get my butt into gear and organise my stash. I've been neglecting it for the past week or so, it's sitting in washing baskets. :o
 OT but I just noticed this - - little guy is back.

It's hard to resist buying nappies when they're so damn cute and addictive but it's embarrassing when you only have 1 in nappies and have that many. I'm slowly culling, I've ran out of excuses having that many.
Not long now 'till your bubby comes :smiliedance:

KarniF00l- that is a totally impressive stash... and it looks organised too! All of our nappies sit in a basinette in the lounge and it retrieve the parts from it as nappies are required. Poor hubby doesnt know what to do when I am out and he cant construct the nappy from all the random bits in there...
You have inspired me to get organised!!!
I am waiting for my pretty BP to arrive before I take my stash pic...

Thanks oliolioli. Lots of grovelling to DH got me that stash.
Wonderful stashes!
I will have to update my stash photo soon. I have 'replaced' a couple of nappies that Av has outgrown. Also have a pocket stash that MIL uses.
But for now here is Av's woolly stash (http://picasaweb.google.com/mychildrensmother/AvSWoollyStash/photo#5075530278988842050).

THAT WOOLY STASH IS INSANE! I love it, all the colours look so beautiful.....
I must resist the urge to go and buy any woolies- they irritate Oli's legs so we cant use them, but they are so irrisitable!

For next bub I am planning to only use organic merino  My big boy has suffered from severe eczema and my bub has mild eczema so we use and prefer soft wools.

so when are you knitting some for Rylan Kymmy :p
all stashes are impressive- I really should take a picture of mine..or maybe pictures!
Re the organic wool just started some shorties 4 my daughter in treliske merino- it is lovely...so pleasant to knit with, yes so soft and smells so sheepishly nice.

Yeah of course...eventually....
The avocado longies are small on Av so he wears them underneath pants. I am hesitant to give up the woollies or nappies. I really need to get more organised.
so when are you knitting some for Rylan Kymmy :p
Maybe we could do a swap, you knit well enough yourself.

Ohhhh wow! I'm in absolute awe of your stashes ladies!
Unfortunately, I don't have a pic, but compared to some of you, my stash is piddly! I only have 30MCN and DH has firmly said that I don't need anymore...despite the fact that #2 is on it's way and DD will still be in cloth for a long time.
I want more...i'm insanely jealous!

 Oh...my....goodness:eek: Kellie that stash is unreal! I can't believe how many nappies you have! It actually makes me feel much better about the ridiculous amount of nappies I have!
Lauren your stash is just as impressive. I love looking at other people's stashes. I'm such a sticky beak.
DragonFly - 30 nappies is still a very impressive amount of nappies. Though, I do agree with you, with another one on the way 30 isn't nearly enough!!
I'll be able to post pictures of mine on the weekend when we move into our new home. I can't wait to have my beautiful cloth nappies back again and on Isaac. DH wouldn't let me use cloth during our move to Canberra, something about smelling out the car on the trip down here:rolleyes: To tell you the truth I'm kind of glad though, the washing machine in our serviced apartment is nasty and I'd be concerned it would damage my (Isaac's!) nappies!

There's no way I'd ever be able to do pics when I have two in cloth and they are all hanging about the house on clothes horses!!
But I have:
POCKETS:
3 BG pockets
2 GK funtimes
3 GK Anytimes
1 HH
2 Swaddlebee organic velour side snap
2 fleece pockets
1 Fruit Salad slim fit pocket
4 Fuzzi Bunz
1 Bits for Bots
AIOS
3 BPs
2 CK HBs
4 Itti Bittis
FITTEDS
3 BBBs
2 bamboo GNSTs
2 bamboo velour VBSNs
1 Dream-Eze organic velour
1 Cute Tooshies bamboo delight
But I only ever seem to have a few dry and available to go on a bum!! And I use flats on Ariene so that the pockets are available for Ronan.
t's not a bad stash for 2 in cloth, is it? Many of those are not for everyday use though. I change both kids around 8-10 times in 24 hours...

Well, it looks like a lot. But on a daily basis, I'm not using the
2 CK HBs
4 Itti Bitti's
2 Swaddlebees
1 Fruit Salad
And two in cloth, changing sometimes hourly (or every wee if in a terry flat) means I go through those remaining nappies very fast! Then of course they take days to dry.
HoopDeeDoo
07-07-2007, 22:04
Emma I have a lot more than that with 2 and it still feels like I don't have enough now that it takes 2 days to dry them, and I'm getting lazy about putting them together once they are dry

oh the things we do for our children in winter. By the time my new bub gets here it will be warmer and elise can start to be a knicker girl more in the day rather then nappies....well thats what im planning :fingerscrossed: TT, oh the joys i have to look forward to :o
