Hi all..
It's 3 hours away until im gonna start to cook dinner, being the end of the week, my freezer is empty, i need to find out what i can make out of pasta and bacon..Maybe a quick pasta sauce recipe? I dont know how to..Using condensed milk maybe? Thanks all!!
do you have cream and cheese?
or you could do a white sauce with the bacon in it on pasta then maybe breadcrumbs and cheese on top and bake it

Cook up the bacon and pasta.
Mix together a tablespoon of cornflower with a tin of condensed milk and a tablespoon of chicken stock. Season with salt and pepper.
Simmer the milk mixture on a low heat, add some grated cheese, bacon and then stir through pasta. Sauce will start to thicken, take off heat and serve.

me either Kazza, only evaporated
isn't condensed too sweet?
I wouldn't used sweetened condensed milk!! only evaporated milk/ light and creamy.
Or if you dont have any ligght and creamy or any cream, make a white cause using even amounts of flour and butter, salt, pepper, milk and cheese.
You could also use tinned tomatoes, garlic, herbs and onion..
Good luck!

This is so stange but i guess it would taste nice.
We used to eat it out of the tube when we were kids!!
Always keep a can of tomatoes in your cupboard.
Fry bacon, onion and perhaps any old veg.
add the toms and cooked pasta and bake with cheese.
I know you said the pantry was bare but hope this helps.

Oh i made a mistake, i dont have a condensed milk, only evaporated milk. So with the recipe that nic71 and EcstaticEm given, i'll just need to put evaporated milk instead of condensed milk? I could go to the shop and buy some stuff, but tomorrow is our shopping day and i hate using the bank card or draw money out just to buy little things. I would rather make do with what i have in the pantry, with help from the generous bubhubbers, thank you very much..:D

Silly me:o I always call it condensed milk - but when I looked in the cupboard it is evaporated milk. :o So yes, use that instead!!! I always use the light one too and it still takes so creamy without the calories.
