After all that effort with finding a name which I thought I was 100% happy with!

(Poppy Joan) I now am uncertain. Why is this happening with only 7 weeks to go - is it hormones???

Ok now I have a final list again please let me know what you think:

My girlfriend was to have a Poppy but at the last minute called her Pippin. Maybe this helps?

I think I am just starting to get scared cause the time is coming around so quickly and I am such a perdantict (sp?) woman! I hate it I have to have the name ready before she comes out :)

I love it too but it's hard sometimes when you have your bloody mother in law saying it will be too confusing when she is around Pop (as in grandfather) and will confuse everyone!

don't listen to mil. kids end up calling grandparents what they like generally - and that's not always what we had in mind - so she might not even call him pop, and if she does - i think she'll like that they have similar names!!!

I love the name Poppy Joan and i don't think that it will get confusing when around her pop as her name will be poppy not pop. I also like Ava and Eva. :)

I think Poppy is a pretty name, but I also like Ava.
Don't let your MIL change your mind, her reasoning sounds silly to me.

Poppy, Lila, Ava are all nice.

After months of not deciding on my boys name's I always went back to what I liked from the start.

Don't worry about the dreaded MIL, maybe change Poppy to Pop, Pa, Grandpop etc. etc.
